Sheffield Needs A Radical Bookshop, April 20th

Can you call it a launch when you’re already open? Anyway, coming up, “Why Sheffield Needs A Radical Bookshop” an evening of music, poetry, ranting and a bar.

We’ll be joined by speakers from the Anarchist Bookfair, Sheffield Independent Books (a long lamented Sheffield radical bookshop that closed in the nineties) and a freshly arrested tree protester – you have to trawl the jails for speakers when opening a radical bookshop, it’s the rules.

Throughout the evening we’ll also be treated to fabulous poetry and song and there will be plenty of books, badges and nik-naks to browse. It’s going to be fun.

Come to Theatre Deli, 17 The Moor, S1 4PF on Thursday April 20th, 7 pm start. Free entry.
